Young, humble, and demonstrating maturity beyond his years. Burgeoning artist Tino is very much carving his own space in the current rap soundscape, with single ‘Like I Do’ being an impressive exemplification.
Co-signed by Ed-Sheeran and already performed with one of the most prominent names in the rap scene right now, Fumez The Engineer, at just 16 years old Tino’s story is already an interesting one. Having been personally invited by ‘Plugged-In’ for a session, Tino’s performance not only impressed Ed and Fumez, the video impressed millions of new fans across the digital world. Going viral overnight, Tino’s name was confidently placed alongside sessions belonging to Skepta, Russ Millions, Ardee and Clavish.
Tino’s authenticity and distinctive melodic rap flow couldn’t go unnoticed by Fumez, who later invited him to join him on tour, “It made me decide to bring him out to do some shows with me…he loved being on stage, he loved the energy, he got the crowd excited, he absolutely killed it…I knew that he was one for the future”, he explains.
Tino satiates his arsenal of new fans with his latest ‘Like I Do’. Wistful and sweet but still gritty and authentic to the drill genre, the rapper addresses his lover whilst consulting their relationship and his career. Slick flows and a silky hook come together for Tino’s best release yet, and one that is sure to solidify his spot as one of the UK’s best up and coming young rappers.

The young Oxford hailing lyricist is providing the UK rap scene with a fresh new perspective. Tino’s clean lyrics push a more positive, uplifting agenda that challenges mainstream stereotypes about the negative themes within rap and drill music.
