Waiting for Smith is set to captivate audiences once again with the release of his latest single, “Small Things.” This mellow offering serves as a powerful reminder of the transient nature of worries and the potential for positive change. It is poised to become the anthem for those seeking solace in the midst of life’s challenges. Producer and frequent collaborator Grammy award winning producer Danton Supple (Coldplay, Kylie Minogue, Elbow, Patti Smith) creates the perfect, breathy soundscape for Harry Lloyd’s (aka Waiting For Smith) soft vocal lines and soulful delivery as he comes to the conclusion that directing attention towards what truly holds significance, as ultimately, all things shall pass.

“So don’t worry about the small things / Cos one day we’ll day die and we’ll be gone / The world will forgot and have moved on / Don’t worry about the small things” – lyrics from Waiting For Smith’s “Small Things.”

Speaking on the new single, Waiting For Smith says, “We all can change, by rewriting the stories we tell ourselves.  The stories that seem to keep us from our greater happiness. This tune is a reminder that the ‘small things’ we worry about, day in and day out, will all eventually be forgotten. Even the bigger things all seem to turn out ok in the end if we see the things they have given us. It’s a song written with the intention to help clear away negative emotions. And It helped me to realise that I am alive everyday. That right now in this moment, I can choose how I react to anything and that the “small things”can be just moved Away Away, Away Away. ‘Small Things’ is a driving song to be played on any road trip – destination peace.”

What distinguishes Small Things is the collaboration with the Ingoma Choir from the IY Township in South Africa, infusing the track with a unique and soulful dimension. Their contribution adds a cultural richness and authenticity, elevating the emotional depth of the song and transcending musical boundaries.

The single lands as the budding singer-songwriter’s first release of the year and first release to follow the successes of his recent European adventure with credible musician Isaac Anderson. Anderson, who recently supported Louis Tomlinson himself, invited Waiting For Smith on a remarkable 10-date tour spanning Germany, France, Czech Republic, Austria, and Poland. The resounding successes of the tour inspired Waiting For Smith to embark on his own EU headline tour across select territories, commencing this April.

Waiting For Smith’s remarkable achievements include over 4.5 million Spotify streams, 550K YouTube views, 125K Shazams and an ardent Facebook following  of over 25K. His music resonates across 180 radio stations globally, from Huw Stephens on Radio 1 to Dermot O’Leary, Jo Whiley, and Tom Robinson.
