UK PRODUCER SONNEE MAKES HIS WARNER DEBUT WITH “HEARTFALLS” (FEAT. KHAZALI)

announces his new EP “innershy”

“I need to let it go” is the refrain of Sonnee’s new single “Heartfalls” — and with his music, letting go comes naturally. The British electronic producer intricately blends sonics into a sound that energises the dancefloor while evoking emotional introspection. His tracks pulse with movement and melancholy, leading listeners on a journey that oscillates between wanderlust and homecoming.

Following streaming successes with tracks like “About You”, “Dancing Ain’t Enough” (both approaching 11 million Spotify streams) and “Leave The Water Still”, Sonnee now embarks on a new chapter: “Heartfalls” marks his debut on Warner Music Central Europe. “So I went to Berlin to sign with @warnermusic.de, and it was actually two of the best days of my lifeeee,” he shares, celebrating the milestone.

Heartfalls” perfectly encapsulates Sonnee’s musical identity: organic textures intertwine with Khazali’s melancholic vocals and immersive club energy, creating a track rich in beauty and depth. The song captures an emotional whirlwind — between distance and intimacy, detachment and the longing for connection. “I need to let it go, let it go / To make it up,” repeats the chorus — an anthem for anyone navigating the space between a lost past and new beginnings. With “Heartfalls,” Sonnee delivers the perfect soundtrack for this delicate balancing act, reaffirming his knack for soulful, layered productions.

Sonnee says: “‘Heartfalls’ to me is about letting go of your spirals, your heavy feelings. It’s a reminder, maybe even a mantra, to move, to feel & to let time be a healer.“”

Khazali adds: “Getting to know Charlie in the studio and connecting over music came at a really important time for me. I feel like we took conversations about life and we’ve woven what we were both going through into a song that means a huge deal to both of us. It was quite emotional listening to the track in the car together after the sessions, and it’s really exciting that other people out there are going to experience it, and hopefully relate to the feeling of going for what you want in life and putting what needs to go behind you.”

“Heartfalls” is the first single from Sonnee’s new EP “innershy”, which will be released in the coming months. “‘innershy’ is an EP of firsts for me. New writing processes, my own new club night in Manchester and London, and a new label partner in Warner,” says Sonnee about the release. “I’ve embraced my innershy across this collection of 3 songs.”
