The track is accompanied by an official music video that channels the gritty, unbridled energy of a Y2K house party—sweaty, raw, and permeating with palpable enthusiasm.
“The song sounds like the night we never had in high school,” says the duo. “Like the parties shown to us in films like Project X, Mean Girls, and Superbad.”
The Los Angeles-based pair notably co-produced the song alongside Boston & Pat (Tinashe, Artemas), Karma Kid (Shygirl, Bakar), and Jay Moon (Miley Cyrus, SG Lewis). Illuminating their natural penchant for shimmering sonic subversion, glitchy synths bring the track to life as a reverberating bassline and hard-hitting beat set the tempo. Turning on a dime, the vibe swings from underground pop to hip-hop, then back to club-ready dance music. Pebbles&TamTam initially crossed paths as classmates at Boston’s Berklee College of Music, recognizing a creative kinship. Harnessing this energy, they ignited the internet with their 2024 debut single “PINK LIKE SUKI,” inciting over 25K TikTok “creates” and gathering north of 12.3 million Spotify streams. They only picked up the pace with “CARDIAC,” “RINSE&REPEAT,” and “DECLINED.”
