The Filth On Acid founder delivers a faster, brutal take on Pan-Pot’s 2012 track
Techno titan and Filth On Acid label head Reinier Zonneveld is back with a new remix of Pan-Pot and Cari Golden’s ‘Captain My Captain’, out now.
Dutchman Zonneveld has invigorated the techno scene in recent years with his epic events, such as the Arnhem-based festival Karren Maar, marathon DJ sets and famous live shows, where he delivers thunderous techno using classic drum machines and cutting-edge synthesisers, always with raw energy and inventiveness.
Originally released as a techy house track in 2012, Reinier Zonneveld’s ‘Filth On Acid Mix’ of ‘Captain My Captain’ is an epic peak-time techno cut with earth-shattering kick drums and flashy trance synths that light up the energetic grooves. The bass has a real rawness to it and distorted textures, while the sultry vocal refrain makes its mark.
This is another epic rework from the contemporary tastemaker Reinier Zonneveld. ‘Captain my Captain’ (Filth On Acid Mix) is out now via Filth On Acid.
