SHARES VISUAL FOR “brown eyes*” FEATURING RIOVAZ

“…re6ce’s music is difficult to categorize; it’s a “choose your own adventure” type of experience. Each song is unique and offers something different from the last. Their music has a distinct style that sets it apart from other artists, with a youthful teenage energy and mostly guitar driven production.” – COMPLEX

Gaining buzz as an artist to watch with an uncategorizable and undeniable vision, 19-year-old singer/multi-instrumentalist re6ce has unveiled their new EYEBLEACH. EP out today via Good Luck Have Fun/Atlantic Records. Written and produced by the likes of Reece Downes, Gabe Greenland, Dylan Chenfeld, aldn, and Riovaz, the project is available everywhere. re6ce also uncovered a visual to accompany the EP’s new version of “brown eyes*  featuring Riovaz.

eyebleach is a concept i wanted to put out before the album, eyebleach to me means sharp, it means distortion,” says re6ce. “i made this ep with my friends between june to october this year. we started it in la then i made a couple songs while home in london and then me and gabe wrapped it up in nyc near halloween.”

Among many highlights, “so wrong (so right!),” showcases their penchant for sonic alchemy. Distortion buzzes beneath grainy vocal transmissions as keys glitch through computer bleeps and bloops. The hook rises up out of this backdrop, “I know it’s so wrong, but it feels so right. Elsewhere, an entrancing drum pattern transfixes on “ISTILLLUVU.” Humming guitar complements the heartbroken chant, “I still love you. Then, there’s “BOYSD0NT6RY.” An upbeat space-punk rhythm grinds up against gritty guitar and D.I.Y. beat-craft topped off with an emotionally charged scream, “Die for!” Finally, Riovaz blesses brown eyes* with a stunning cameo.

re6ce has quietly emerged as a phenomenon with tens of millions of streams and critical acclaim.
