Something More” arrives on the heels of Levi’s viral smash, “Birthday Dance,” which sparked a worldwide dance craze with a hilarious Tik Tok that saw the star busting moves in a Chuck E. Cheese costume. The track – featured on last year’s DISC TWO (SCRATCHED UP) – fast proved a certifiable TikTok sensation with its official sound now exceeding 200.5K creates so far.

Levi has gained thousands of new followers since that initial viral moment, earning millions of views and Top 10 spots on such playlists as Tik Tok’s R&B Songs,  YouTube Shorts’ R&B Soul, and more. “Birthday Dance” was later joined by an official music video, highlighted by a steamy homage to Konami’s Dance Dance Revolution and streaming now.

Levi – who recently traveled with breakthrough rap duo Flyana Boss as special guest on their sold-out Bosstanical Garden Tour – recently celebrated “Something More,” “Birthday Dance,” and new music to come with his festival debut performance, by joining Lil Wayne, Summer Walker, Latto, Gucci Mane, and more at TwoGether Land, on May 25 at Dallas, TX’s Fair Park. This weekend on June 1, Levi is slated to take the They Have The Range stage at the Roots Picnic at Philadelphia, PA’s Mann in Fairmount Park.

Named by PEOPLE among “25 Emerging Musical Artists You Should Add to Your Playlist” by EBONY as one of “9 Artists That Need Your Attention All 2024,” Josh Levi immediately captivates with each inhale of experience and exhale of emotion. Levi made his opening statement with the 2020 release of DISC ONE, earning high profile media attention from the likes of BillboardWonderland, and Earmilk, which applauded the project as “an all-encompassing showcase of how much of an anomaly he is.” Crowned by V as “your classic triple threat,”, the gifted young artist caught the attention of Issa Rae and her label imprint, Raedio, featuring his 2021 single, “What’s The Use,” on the soundtrack to her critically acclaimed HBO series, Insecure: Season 5. The track proved an instant smash for Levi, named by Billboard at #6 on their “Tunefind Top TV/Movie Syncs of 2021.”

Levi’s voice was next featured on the GRAMMY® Award-nominated, RIAA Gold-certified worldwide smash, “Nobody Like U,” as Aaron Z, a member of the teenage heartthrob boyband 4*Town in Disney/Pixar’s blockbuster Turning Red. Written by GRAMMY® Award-winning singer-songwriters Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell, “Nobody Like U” proved an immediate Billboard “Hot 100” smash upon its arrival – Levi’s first appearance on the overall chart. The song’s global success rocketed Levi’s monthly Spotify listeners to more than 4.5M and went on to not only earn RIAA Gold certification along with further honors including a prestigious GRAMMY® Award nomination for “Best Song Written For Visual Media” and an MTV Movie & TV Awards nod for “Best Musical Moment.”

Levi’s sophomore EP,2022’s DISC TWO followed, highlighted by such tracks as “VICES,” “NASA,” and “DON’T THEY REMIX (FEAT. NORMANI)“ (which exclusively premiered on Apple Music’s The Zane Lowe Show). The EP’s smashing success inspired the release of DISC TWO (SCRATCHED UP) in 2023,  an expanded deluxe edition adding three new tracks, including  “Birthday Dance,” “SEE LOW,” and the braggadocious “EGO,” along wth a sped-up reworking of DISC TWO’s hit single, “ALL OVER AGAIN.” 2023 further saw Levi join forces with The Recording Academy for a sublime rendition of Jazmine Sullivan’s GRAMMY® Award-nominated hit single, “Lions, Tigers & Bears (ReImagined),” streaming as part of The Recording Academy’s popular “ReImagined” series.
