PROSPA & RAHH DROP HUGE SINGLE ‘THIS RHYTHM’ ON CIRCOLOCO RECORDS

Leeds duo Prospa return to CircoLoco Records with a dangerously groovy track featuring Manchester singer RAHH, honouring the golden era of house and disco

Following the success of June’s ‘If You Want My Lovin’ EP, which included fan-favourite ‘Motions’ (1.5M Spotify streams), ‘This Rhythm’ is an absolute belter. Disco guitars, crisp percussion, and a catchy soulful vocal from Manchester’s RAHH merge, nodding to nostalgic house, combined with Prospa’s contemporary edge, capturing an uplifting energy that’s impossible to resist.

“We were yearning to make something simple yet vocal-filled and groovy,” say Prospa. “With RAHH from Manchester and us from Leeds, the connection was instant. This song is about the relationship between music and the body, how rhythm and the passion of dance bring us together.

“For weeks, we sat with the vocal and song skeleton. When we arrived in Phuket for Circoloco Thailand, it felt like the perfect place to finish it. In the tropical sun, we danced and chipped away at the production, and it felt so natural to wrap up the song in a day. It’s a testament to working with such a wonderful vocal. This rhythm is my heartbeat. Enjoy!”

The Leeds pair, made up of childhood friends Harvey Blumler and Gosha Smith, have been making major waves in electronic music as of late. Influenced by legends like Daft Punk and The Chemical Brothers, Prospa broke through in 2018 with their hit ‘Prayer’ (16M+ streams), which helped relaunch the heritage label Stress Records.

Both their DJ sets and adored live shows have taken them to iconic stages worldwide, including GlastonburyCoachella, Ibiza’s DC-10Creamfields, and Denver’s Red Rocks, establishing their status as international festival favourites.

Prospa made their mark as one of dance music’s most exciting acts in 2024, and they’re just getting started. What’s next for 2025? Stay tuned.
