Already championed by Meta as a ‘Next Gen’ 2024 Artist to Watch, montykeates has taken the internet by storm. Gaining attention for his eccentric, high-energy, genre-defying sonic, the London-based, anti-convention creative has returned with his latest single, “EASY”. Continuing to push the boundaries of his own music, self proclaimed ‘internet nuisance’ montykeates’ creates his own nuisance of crunching guitars teamed with pulating beats.

Following the release of three soaring singles, PANIC!”, “Unavailable”, andLose My Head, all of which have gained over 300,000 organic streams, montykeates is setting the bar high for futuristic music. Building a sound homing messages that  resonate with many across the nation, EASYis an anthem that celebrates saying goodbye. Leaving the baggage behind, he opens the door to freedom in this empowering single.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the track, montykeates explained, “Some goodbyes are well overdue. This song is an ode to showing someone the door and getting on with life like it never happened, I want people to turn it up and wipe their brains of any baggage that’s holding them back.”

Arriving already with the glowing supports of Wonderland Magazine, The Line of Best Fit, Why Now, Euphoria, Ones To Watch, Music Week, Apple Music’s ‘New In Alternative’ and ‘The New Rock’, as well as Spotify’s ‘Fresh Finds UK & IE’ playlists and more. Recently invited to the side stage to watch Thirty Second To Mars at the O2 in London, he was asked to join the band for their final song. The release of “Lose My Head” was celebrated with a 200-capacity sold-out launch party nestled in East London, Shoreditch at 93 Feet East. Emphasising his position as a trailblazer in British Music,EASY is another glimpse of what’s yet to arrive from the newcomer.

As a person, montykeates offers a nuanced self-description: an individual who is inherently reticent yet profoundly compassionate, with a penchant for employing humour as an armour of defence. Through his musical endeavours, he embarks on a transformative journey—one that entails discarding these protective masks and embracing the full spectrum of his emotions. This voyage paves the way for a journey of self-discovery and healing.
