Mungo’s Hi Fi are known for their unique place within UK club culture. Through their heavyweight DJ sets and releases which champion their love of Jamaican soundsystem culture and Jamaican musical heritage, they create uniquely uplifting experiences.
They’ve shared a brilliantly fun music video for new single ‘Born With It’ which pulls on their love of UK Garage and 90’s Rave culture, mixed in with a big dose of Drum n Bass attitude. The high energy anthem, features searing vocal hooks from Nubiyan Twist singer Aziza Jaye, combined with the driving energetic bars of BBC R1 champion Gardna and the heavy-duty dancehall sass of Eva Lazarus take the track to the next level. Set to be a 2024 summer anthem at festivals, clubs, underground sound system parties, ‘Born with It’ will also be available on 12” vinyl.
Fresh off a huge North America tour, Mungo’s Hi Fi will be tearing down sets across the UK and Europe this summer, with sets at Reggae Land, Valley Festival, Boardmasters and Boomtown – as well headline shows later this year at O2 Academy – Oxford and Bristol, and the Forum in London.
