MASON COLLECTIVE DROP THE ADDICTING GROOVE ‘GET THIS MONEY’

The Manchester-based DJ & production trio keep the heat coming with their latest high-energy offering under MVSON Records

Following in hot from their debut release on their newly launched label MVSON Records, the heralded Manchester-based production trio, Mason Collective return with yet another intoxicating new record titled ‘Get This Money’.

The trio gear up for yet another strong season of releases with this latest offering. Get This Money is a bass and beat heavy release, brimming with energising high-hats, punchy basslines and warping synths, and laced with the Manchester-based trio’s immersive yet minimal techno groove.

This latest single follows the release of their MVSON WAY EP out earlier this year. The EP proved to be an undeniably masterful production, thanks to the trio’s sublime vocal samples, infectious basslines and dance-ready sound production.

“We’ve been perfecting our craft for 12 years now, expressing our ideas and experiences through music, events and fashion”, the trio says. “With MVSON Records, we wanted to bring synchronicity between all mediums. A home for our signature sound and a platform for world class artists.”

Straddling both music and fashion, Mason Collective – headed by Blair Suarez, Adam Myles and Omar Guedar – are following up on a busy 2023. After January’s acclaimed MASON Edits: Vol 2 edit pack release and April’s Soul Rebel EP, the Manchester trio made their debut on Defected with ‘People In Love’ featuring Bipolar Sunshine, before a packed summer which included the BPM Festival in Costa Rica, as well as shows in Cartagena Colombia, Napoli, Rome, Milan, Printworks London and Barcelona to name a few. The Collective also introduced the new label imprint V House with their single ‘Samburu’ with AJ Christou.

Infusing their house productions with hip-hop and UK garage influences, if you’re not familiar the trio have had a strong few years, with releases on Hot TraxDefectedSolid GroovesKnee Deep In Sound, Saved RecordsLoco Dice’s Desolat as well as their own label Whippin’.

The Manchester trio has continued to showcase their production prowess, now under their growing underground dance label MVSON Records, which we can expect to flourish throughout 2024.
