LLOYISO SHARES NEW VISUALS FOR THE POWERFUL SINGLE ‘HIGH’ SHOT DURING HIS FIRST TRIP TO LONDON

Off the back of a BBC Radio 1’s Future Pop premiere, the talented SA artist unveils visual shot during his recent trip to London – which saw him perform at The Brits Award Party with Clean Bandit as well as with DJ AG.

After a year of huge highs and life-changing lows, South African singer-songwriter and producer Lloyiso (pron. LAW-YEE-SOH) recently returned with a double A-side ‘High‘ and ‘Higher‘ – two anthems of resilience, transformation, and personal power.

The Johannesburg-based artist is making his mark over in the UK, having attended the BRITs, following a performance at the BRITS Week 25 event‘Clean Bandit & Friends’ at the London Palladium with special guests Jess Glynne, Wes Nelson, LeoStayTrill, Belen Aguilera, and Dyo, raising over £7.43 million for War Child.

‘High’ received its radio premiere on Jodie Bryant’s Future Pop show on BBC Radio 1 and during this time, whilst still in London (for the very first time), Lloyiso also swang by to showcase his amazing vocal talent to UK audiences with DJ AG, see HERE.

This new unofficial music video was shot during his time in London, and captures the excitement of being in a new environment and the possibilities that brings, whilst mirroring the  uplifting nature of the track itself.

His first release since his 6x Platinum debut EP Seasons in 2023, this two-track drop from Lloyiso marks a new chapter, one that builds on his signature emotional depth but channels it into bold, uplifting energy. Both ‘High’ and ‘Higher’ tell an empowering story about getting back on your feet, giving it your all, holding onto destiny “even when your heart is breaking”.

After making history as the first South African artist signed to Republic Records, Lloyiso’s journey has been nothing short of meteoric. His debut EP Seasons earned Best Pop Album at the South African Music Awards, while his collaboration with Martin Garrix on ‘Real Love’ amassed 90M+ streams. In 2024, he completed his first sold-out headline tour, The Elephant in the Room, performing to 15,000+ fans across South Africa.

Now signed to EMPIRE, with ‘High’ and ‘Higher’, Lloyiso sets his sights higher than ever—turning pain into power and proving why he’s such a promising, resonating voice in music.
