With a very warm welcome to the Good Company family, Leena Punks delivers her tune ‘Finally’. With plenty of nostalgia and good feeling, ‘Finally’ samples CeCe Peniston’s classic 1992 hit by the same name.
In the new single ‘Finally’, Leena Punks puts her own spin on the classic vocal and effortlessly pairs it with an infectious Drum & Bass led production which does not fall short of impressive. Leena once again showcases her prowess and makes a statement as to why she is a BBC Introducing ‘one to watch’ Artist.
Her previous release with Amy Wiles, ‘Sweet Feeling‘ was presented as the Dancefloor Moment of the Week on BBC Radio 1. The track was also her second number 1 on the Breaks Beatport Chart and got playlisted on Sirius XM. Leena Punks is set to make waves in the music scene once again, with her new single ‘Finally’ – as the song seamlessly blends elements from different musical realms, it manages to
pay homage to its origins while blazing an exciting new trail.
Unsurprisingly, Leena has had a really busy summer with a whole host of shows lined up including Gorge Amphitheatre in the US, an appearance on the BBC Introducing Stage at Standon Calling, as well as her set at Tomorrowland. The 2023 season will be topped off with her set at Creamfields, supporting Eli and Fur at E1 in June, and Christoph & Konstanin Sibold at E1 in September. This massive year for Leena Punks shows her music and sets are not to be missed. Her new release ‘Finally’ crowns the end of this eventful summer but also reminds us that the dance season is not over.

“Finally is such a classic 90’s record so when I got the chance to use those iconic vocals I wanted to make it as different from the original as possible. I experimented with drum and bass at this time instead of breaks that lead into trance euphoria in the final part whilst incorporating the piano chord progression of the original.
