Experts Only, John Summit’s globally-renowned label and party, once again takes over over Miami Music Week with a sold-out event, exclusive mixer, and a belting 7-track compilation, all leading up to Summit’s highly anticipated Everything Always headliner show with Dom Dolla at Ultra Music Festival on Friday 28th.
The Excursions Volume 4 compilation showcases 11 artists landing on the label for the first time. It spans cinematic, futuristic main room progressive house and techno, through the likes of Jackie Hollander & Kamino’s ‘LSD’ and Weska and Enamour’s ‘Deadbeat’, chugging almost post-punk sounds with Roddy Lima’s ‘Be A Freak’, right through to percussion-heavy tech house with the compilation closer, ‘Watch Her’ from Kieran San Jose.
In the lead up to Friday’s release, Experts Only takes over Miami’s Toe Jam venue for a completely sold-out event, featuring DJ sets from Ayybo, Cole Knight, Layton Giordani, Max Styler, the compilation’s own Roddy Lima, and Westend following an exclusive industry-only on Thursday at a private location.
Today, all roads lead to one of the world’s biggest dance music festivals, Ultra Music Festival, a cornerstone of Miami Music Week now celebrating its 25th year. Experts Only’s head honcho John Summit will—in a UMF exclusive—go back-to-back with Aussie party-starter Dom Dolla for their incredible ‘Everything Always’ headline show, playing alongside the likes of Solomun, Anyma, Tiesto, Martin Garrix, Oliver Heldens and many, many more.
