JD EICHER SHARES BREAKUP ANTHEM WITH NEW SINGLE ‘THE WILL TO LIVE’ 

Acclaimed indie and alt-pop artist JD Eicher is back with his latest single, “The Will To Live“, an upbeat track that channels the exhilaration of breaking free from a toxic relationship. With his signature expressive vocals and poignant songwriting, JD Eicher delivers an anthem that is both introspective and celebratory—a perfect reflection of his evolving artistry.

JD Eicher has established himself as a compelling voice in the music industry, touring extensively across the US and abroad. His music has struck a chord with listeners worldwide, landing him on bills alongside major acts like Coldplay, Train, The Zombies, and Sister Hazel. With several albums to his credit, JD Eicher’s work extends beyond his own music, having created the soundtrack for Nicholas Sparks’s 20th book, Two By Two, and his songs have been featured in national ad campaigns and popular television shows.

Commenting on the inspiration behind this new release, he shares, ““The Will To Live” is an upbeat – almost celebratory – breakup song about getting out of a toxic relationship.”

JD Eicher, who wrote and produced the track, collaborated with his live band’s rhythm section to bring the song to life. The drums were laid down by Dylan Kollat, and the groovy bassline was provided by Jim Merhaut. The track’s polished and powerful sound is a result of Shane Lance’s expert mixing and Emerson Mancini’s mastering.

With “The Will To Live”, JD Eicher  presents a fresh take on breakups. While they are often portrayed as dark and painful, he highlights the liberation and joy that can come from realizing your self-worth. This song is about reclaiming your happiness and moving forward with strength.

The Will To Live” is the third single in a series of releases that will culminate in a full-length album, so fans can look forward to more as JD Eicher continues to build momentum.
