ISAAC BUTLER SHARES HEARTFELT TRIBUTE TO HIS FATHER IN NEW SINGLE “EVEN GIANTS FALL”

Irish singer-songwriter Isaac Butler is set to tug at heartstrings with the release of his latest single, “Even Giants Fall“. The track follows a stellar 2023 for Butler, marked by the release of five hit singles, two sold-out headline shows at Whelan’s main room and The Academy main room, and support tours alongside notable acts such as The Coronas, Ryan McMullen, and Macy Gray.

“Even Giants Fall” is a heartfelt tribute from Isaac to his father. Reflecting on the song, Isaac shares, “This song is a sort of hat tip to my old man, for my entire life he’s been my soundboard, my go-to person when things aren’t going my way, and a constant source of advice. This song is my way of saying thank you and also that if or when he needs me to return the favor, I’m here.

The track begins with a quiet and emotional tone, narrating a poignant moment of vulnerability Isaac witnessed in his father. “When I was a kid, and even through teenage years, and to be honest, sometimes now, I see him as having this superhuman ability to stay level-headed in the toughest of situations. It’s a trait that I really hope I can learn from him,” Isaac explains. “Even Giants Fall” is a poignant exploration of the love between a father and son, encapsulating the profound admiration that defines their relationship.

Isaac Butler is an independent pop singer-songwriter from Dublin who has spent the last 2 years building his profile through music releases, live gigs and playing the Irish festival scene Electric Picnic/ Kaleidescope. His debut headline show in Whelans Dublin last October was a sell-out and he’s currently gearing up for his first headline show in London on April 18.
