“Nonô is the future of pop” – Jack Saunders, BBC Radio 1
Nonô’s quickfire vocals ignite over a Brazilian baile funk rhythm on ‘Fenomenal’, thrown against electronic drums edging the track into rave territory. Bursting with energy, its infectious Latin heat is a guaranteed way to light up any DJ booth.
‘Fenomenal’ arrives with a high-energy music video that brings together London’s urban grit and Brazilian flare, embodying Nonô’s sound—a dynamic mix of UK and Latin influences that meet in a unique middle ground.
On the music video, Nonô says, “Much like Ronaldo Fenômeno the famous 90’s footballer, feeling FENOMENAL means reconnecting to yourself and feeling truly phenomenal on your own terms. The music video juxtaposes moody scenes that evoke London’s edginess with the joyful flair of the brasileiragem (the Brazilian spirit). After feeling too gringa for the Brazilians and too Brazilian for the gringos, I’ve learned that we’re all made of a unique blend and it’s so much more fun to dance to our own tune.”
This is the third single on Nonô’s forthcoming EP, following September’s huge Latin banger ‘Vem’ featured in the soundtrack of the new EA Sports FC25 (FIFA) and May’s ‘ALÔ’, which was featured on the new EA Formula 1 game soundtrack alongside music from the likes of Fontaines D.C. and Skrillex.
Rio-born and London-based, Nonô is turning up the heat in pop music with her vibrant fusion of Brazilian beats and sassy hooks. In March, she made waves as the first Brazilian ever invited to SXSW’s official writing camp, also performing at the iconic Austin festival and Future Echoes in Sweden. The last year has seen a spread of incredible live performances, as she has also performed at the O2 Academy in Islington, supported Example on his UK tour, and took centre stage at the Silverstone Grand Prix in July, bringing her signature energy trackside.
Nonô’s unique style has resonated worldwide, with over 170 million streams and 1.5 million monthly Spotify listeners. Her 2023 hit “All Day” with WELSHY went Platinum in Ireland and climbed to Irish Shazam’s No. 1 spot. Supported by BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders as “the future of pop,” she’s collaborated with Charli XCX, Jonas Blue, and Alok, making her “one to watch” in 2025.
Armed with another insanely good single in the form of ‘Fenomenal‘, Nonô continues to tease her upcoming EP with fierce energy and a sound that’s making waves globally.
