FAST-RISING DIY STAR RE6CE SHARES NEW SINGLE “ZOMBIE,”

“…re6ce’s music is difficult to categorize; it’s a “choose your own adventure” type of experience.
Each song is unique and offers something different from the last. His music has a distinct style
that sets it apart from other artists, with a youthful teenage energy
and mostly guitar driven production.” – COMPLEX

18-year-old singer/multi-instrumentalist re6ce has shared “ZOMBIE” today, following their debut EP grey europe, released in May. “ZOMBIE” was written and produced by re6ce and Alex Craig (Coco & Clair Clair, Roy Blair).

On the song re6ce says, “ZOMBIE is one of the first songs I made for the new project. It’s about substance abuse and codependency. First we put the drums down and they just had such a grungy, early 2000s kick to them so after I put down the bassline, Alex Craig (the producer) laid down the synth and the song was finished an hour later.”

grey europe, whose co-producers include aldn, Gabe GreenlandAlex Craig and glaive, features such tracks as “i dont even own prada shoes lol” and “brown eyes*,” the latter of which is one of re6ce’s most popular release thus far with over 10M streams.

On the live front, re6ce will be joining Riovaz on his “God is a DJ” Tour, kicking off October 5th in Colorado and wrapping November 3rd in Chicago with stops in LA, Atlanta, Boston, Philadelphia, New York City and more. For tickets and more information, visit https://www.riovaz.com/tour/

more on re6ce:

Having begun making music in their teenage bedroom, re6ce has quickly drawn critical applause and a fast-growing fan following for their exceptional combination of modern rock, futuristic hyperpop, and sentimental indie pop – a genre-agnostic DIY approach hailed by COMPLEX as “a ‘choose your own adventure’ type of experience. Each song is unique and offers something different from the last.” Now boasting tens of millions of worldwide streams for tracks like “teeth (you)” and “cabin fever,” re6ce has since taken their music from the bedroom to the live stage, including dates across the EU and UK with such like-minded artists as glaive and Ekkstacy.
