Vancouver’s EKKSTACY announces his new album, Forever, out May 16th via UnitedMasters (Dine Alone / Canada). The new record, Stacy’s third studio album, tackles his emo and post-punk influences with a new level of poise for the ascendant 22-year-old, who toured the globe in 2024 and has quickly risen to become one of the brightest new stars in alternative music. Earlier this week, it was announced that EKKSTACY is nominated for a 2025 JUNO Award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year. Forever finds Stacy assured in the expansion of his sound, introducing softer, stripped-back songs to accompany the thrashing pace of tracks like his previous single “she will be missed.”

Alongside the announcement, Stacy is also sharing the album’s second single, “keep my head down,” a tender track that centers on his voice and songwriting, introducing this next phase of his career he’s ushering in with Forever. While retaining the signature off-the-wall energy of his discography, Forever channels that relentless angst back into music itself, delving further into emo influences like Japandroids and Remo Drive. He’s telling similar stories of youthful struggles as he’s done on past albums, this time with a refined perspective focused on overarching themes of the experiences and lessons that lead to newfound maturity. With Forever, Stacy is ascending and refreshed, with a strong command of his sound and utilizing all of his artistic strengths to their fullest potential.

EKKSTACY’s busy 2024 saw him breaking new ground with his self-titled second album and standout lead single “bella”, which 032c called “infectious and jubilant”. The year found him surpassing 300 million streams on breakout track “i walk this earth all by myself,” gracing the cover of GQ Hype, landing on Spotify Top 10 Debuts chart on both sides of the Atlantic, and touring around the globe on his own and alongside Blink-182, and the $uicideboy$ respectively.
