KAHUKX continues to solidify his place as a global force with his latest release, ‘Too Many Times,’ a hard-hitting collaboration with UK rap heavyweight RV. The track, produced by SHYY (Clavish, Kairo Keyz, Simba, LeoStayTrill), seamlessly blends jersey-style drums with an infectious melody and sample, providing the perfect backdrop for RV’s commanding delivery and KAHUKX’s signature flow.
Crafted during KAHUKX’s time in London in 2024, ‘Too Many Times’ is the result of a natural musical chemistry between the two artists. Introduced through mutual friends and partners, at the renowned clothing brand GEEDUP, KAHUKX and RV had long respected each other’s craft, making this collaboration an inevitable moment for both UK and Australian rap fans.
Giving his perspective on the collaboration, RV states; “Australia is my second biggest market after the UK, and I’ve always wanted to tap into the scene there—from the music to the fashion. I never force anything in a creative space, I usually work off vibes—so despite us being from opposite ends of the world, it was good to be able to link up with KAHUKX a few times in person and record the song together in the studio rather than just sending parts over. Everything happened naturally and a banger was made. Hopefully, there’s more to come and we can continue bridging the gap.”
Two days after completing the track, the duo filmed an electrifying music video at the iconic Broadwater Farm Estate, a landmark in UK rap history. Directed by Aaron (Aitch, Meekz, OFB), the one-day shoot captures the raw energy and authenticity of the record, cementing it as a must-watch visual.
‘Too Many Times’ also sets the stage for KAHUKX’s upcoming, yet-to-be-announced project, which serves as a cultural bridge between Sydney and London. The project is a testament to his time in the UK, featuring an all-star lineup of UK collaborators ranging from buzzing newcomers to established scene leaders. The first single from the project featured UK rising rap presence LeoStayTrill, further cementing KAHUKX’s presence in the UK rap space. Through his lyricism and storytelling, KAHUKX seamlessly weaves his Australian perspective into the UK soundscape, demonstrating the deep-rooted connection between the two cultures.
