“Some fries” is a jungle inspired upbeat song about one of Tomike’s favorite things – Food.
Known for her down tempo emotion driven smooth jazzy vocals, she has decided to switch it up with this Jungle meets liquid drum and bass track. It’s playful, dreamy and fun.
The track is produced by London based Producer Alfie Rudman. The pair began working together in 2022 after Tomike moved to London. Rudman has produced a whole project with Tomike that is set to be released before the end of the year.
Tomike caused a sensation with her 7 Track EP titled “Take Two”, released at the end of 2022. She described the EP as an insight into her world, sonically, lyrically and melodically. “My sound and my art has changed since my first project, and it will continue to change even after this project, but I think it’s so cool that I can document that and look back on every project and be super proud“
Tomika’s new single is a surprising yet pleasant move that not only demonstrates her musical range but also her courage and determination to constantly broaden her musical horizons. Some Fries is the ultimate proof that she is an artist you can no longer ignore.
