LISTEN TO UNRAVEL HERE

With production from Jake Edwards-Wood and Henry Guy, the song is about uncovering the most vulnerable parts of yourself and bearing all in order to heal – unravelling the layers that stop us being our authentic selves. The track is built around a bass groove performed by Henry Guy (Nao, Bruno Major) and Sipprell’s backing vocals, with a dreamy string arrangement performed by Shaan Ramaprasad. The overall simplicity of the production lets you hone into Sipprell’s sultry vocals and riffs.

‘’Unravel started in a session about 5 years ago with Joe Price and Henry Guy. It began with the bassline Henry played, then Joe wrote some chords on the piano and we replaced them with my vocals. It actually took me up until last year to write the full song on top of the music. I always knew it was something special but nothing I came up with felt right until I was working on my album and revisited it with a fresh perspective. It’s one of my favourites on the album because I really get to just sing and riff and I love thesimplicity of the production.” – Sipprell
