After recently being named as TikTok’s ‘Artist of the Week’ and with a growing fanbase on the platform, this year is set to be a big one for Sølv. She amassed over 400,000 monthly listeners and over 1 million streams on Spotify in the month of January 2023 alone… no mean feat as an entirely independent artist.
Sølv’s sound is unique, yet it feels familiar. Her Gemini duality runs throughout her songs, constantly playing with light and dark; juxtaposing soaring, silky vocals with harsh distorted 808s, heavy beats with ethereal synths and lyricism that plays on toxic love, escapism and constantly yearning for more. The music could accompany your late night drive but equally be the soundtrack to life’s most intimate moments. A flourishing Sound Design Career has led to work with the likes of Loewe, Vogue and Nike and collaborations on TikTok with brands such as COS and AIAIAI.
Sølv has performed at The Garage (supporting Kinnship), Notting Hill Arts Club (Headline show), Colours Hoxton and closed the show for ‘It’s a School Night’s London debut, as well as supporting Rainsford on her London & Paris tour dates, where she received praise from Grammy award winning ‘Producer Of The Year’ 2023, Jack Antonoff for her performance. She will also be playing ‘Victorious Festival’ this August.
