Speaking on the meaning behind the EP Winny explained, “’Commercial break’ is used as a metaphor. Each song represents fleeting moments of love, like commercial breaks in life where love interrupts the everyday routine. Love can come from unexpected connections and can be presented as spontaneous, catching people off guard in the middle of life’s “programming” much like a commercial break offering relief, a temporary escape from pain similar to a break during a tense show. Each track symbolises different stages or perspectives of love just like switching between channels from passion to distance, excitement to calmness capturing the idea that some loves are temporary, brief in the commercial breaks of life leaving a lasting impact even if they are short-lived.”
