AMIRA ELFEKY RETURNS WITH NEW SINGLE “WILL YOU LOVE ME WHEN I’M DEAD” OUT NOW

“Amira Elfeky is one of the fastest-rising artists in the ongoing nu-metal resurgence… Elfeky folds the dirgy alt-metal of Deftones, the melancholy goth-rock of Evanescence and the eerie doom-gaze of King Woman into her bleary-eyed sound.” – REVOLVER

Further distinguishing herself as an alternative outlier, she simultaneously haunts and hypnotizes on the hard-hitting track. The dreamy lull of the intro slips into the emotional undertow of breathy verses as she exhales, “You tasted like honey, so sweet when you stung me, maybe I’m just lucky. Culminating on a climactic chorus, distorted guitar tosses and turns beneath an irresistible refrain as she wonders, Will you love me when I’m dead? Fittingly, a hard-hitting breakdown carries this incisive anthem to its final resting place.

The release continues a prolific year for Elfeky. Most recently, she dropped Remains of Us” with Scarlet House. Right out of the gate, it amassed over 1.1 million Spotify streams and counting. Upon arrival, Revolver touted it among the “6 Best New Songs Right Now, going on to applaud how, Amira Elfeky brings a profoundly haunted and fully mesmerizing kind of longing to her latest nu-gaze single.

In other big news, she joins the massive lineup for the sold out Sick New World in Las Vegas, NV on April 12, 2025 headlined by Metallica and Linkin Park.

However, everything just sets the stage for more to come from Elfeky very soon.

“Remains of Us” followed the release of her debut EP, Skin to Skin, which is highlighted by incendiary tracks like “Everything I Do Is For You,” “A Dozen Roses,” and her acclaimed major label debut single, “Coming Down.”

Hailed by Revolver for a “sensual sound one part Deftones’ gauzy alt-metal and one part Evanescence’s soaring goth-rock,” Elfeky marked the arrival of Skin To Skin earlier this year with a momentous live headline debut performance at Los Angeles, CA’s Moroccan Lounge, which was followed by a much-anticipated series of West Coast headline shows. Elfeky also embarked on a major North American tour alongside The Used and special guests Story of the Year.

Fueled by an unyielding passion for heavy rock, Amira Elfeky draws inspiration from the fervor of nu-metal and the evocative soundscapes of the 2000s. Elfeky’s relationship with Anemoia Records began almost two years ago, when she and masterer/mixer Tylor Bondar (BRELAND, Sueco) started working on music in imprint founder Ian Hunter’s Los Angeles home. She honed in on her sound with relentless effort, finally unveiling “Tonight (Demo)“ in July 2023. Rich with indelible intensity and raw authenticity, the youji2k-produced track – which demonstrates Elfeky’s burgeoning prowess as she navigates the complex terrain of mental health struggles and codependency within relationships – proved an immediate sensation, earning more than 12.5M streams to date. A striking “Tonight” live performance video can be viewed now via YouTube HERE.

In addition, Elfeky shared her arresting cover of System of a Down’s classic “Lonely Day,” streaming now exclusively via Spotify Singles HERE. Revolver hailed the track upon release, raving, “Through Elfeky’s lens, Daron Malakian’s bittersweet ballad takes on a sultrier and gothier blood-soaked sheen.”

Now, with Skin To Skin, Amira Elfeky stands at the forefront of a heavy rock renaissance, beckoning fans to immerse themselves in her cyber-infused sonic universe and witness the rebirth of a musical era through her innovative lens.
