GRAMMY-NOMINATED BLVK H3RO ENLISTS ACCLAIMED PRODUCER GLASSFACE FOR DANCEHALL-ELECTRONIC ANTHEM “ACTIVE”

Posing as one of Jamaica’s trailblazing artists, Blvk H3ro has enlisted renowned producer Glassface [Lil Yachty, Kid Cudi, Ms. Lauryn Hill] for Dancehall-Electronic anthem “Active”. Set to feature on their forthcoming collaborative EP landing on November 1st, the pair will be dropping one track every Friday. Creating an electro-dancehall project that encapsulates a new wave of sound, “Active” emphasises Blvk H3ro’s musical prowess, a testament to his trailblazing status.

Housing a seamless production that infuses Dancehall and electronic elements courtesy of Glassface and Grammy-nominated producer  Noah Beresin [Skrillex, Ty$, Blood Orange, Big Sean], “Active” is an irresistible dancefloor filler oozing with a hip-moving and infectious energy. Glazed with Blvk H3ro’s silky vocals, the track is a bold step in a new and refreshing direction. Paired with high energy visuals, Glassface unravels his signature sensory overload and mixed media approach behind the camera for the self-directed music video. Gaining previous recognition from theFADER, Pitchfork, Esquire and more for his interdisciplinary background in graphic design, video editing, media theory, and marketing, Glassface directed the “1 Night” music video by Lil Yachty accumulating over 100 million views and earned him a RIAA platinum plaque. Complimenting the track’s feel effortlessly, Blvk H3ro and Glassface are gearing supporters up for an epic genre-bending project.

Blvk H3ro, pronounced Black Hero, is an artist reputed for pushing boundaries with his signature modern reggae sound. Collaborating with household named including Skillibeng, Bunny Wailer, Stonebwoy, Teejay, Kojo Funds, and many more, the Grammy-nominated artist has also featured in ad campaigns for Carhartt, Clarks, Karl Kani, Levi’s and The Elder Statesman. Following the release of his 2023 debut album ‘On A Mission’ that accumulated praise online, the trailblazer houses an extensive sound that blends reggae, dancehall, afrobeats, and more into one captivating listen.
