Having broken through into Adam Beyer’s Drumcode as part of this year’s ‘Elevate Vol. II’ all-female VA, Polish-born, Miami-based, KASIA debuts solo on his more melodic imprint Truesoul with ‘Black Sun’. The longest breakdown deliciously torments ravers by slowing, speeding, stopping, teasing, before a drop like the Mariana Trench brings thunderously assertive hammered string sounds that could be the soundtrack to the apocalypse, if you could dance to it.
