ATRIP EXPLORES NEW SOUNDS WITH BOLD COLLABORATIONS ON TANZPARTEI II

The tape release precedes ATRIP’s headline show at Phonox on November 28th

After a hot streak of unmissable single releases this year, rising electronic producer & DJ ATRIP is now ready to share his highly anticipated new mixtape, TANZPARTEI II, dropping today October 4th.

Following the success of his first TANZPARTEI mixtape in 2023, TANZPARTEI II represents an exciting evolution in ATRIP’s sound and artistic direction. The new mixtape showcases the producer’s deepened ambition to push boundaries, incorporating a diverse range of collaborators from both inside and outside the electronic music sphere.

ATRIP comments on the mixtape: “Following my first mixtape release in May 2023, I wanted to be more ambitious in collaborating with artists outside my lane, including rappers like Bawo and KAM-BU, in order to push my own artistic identity into new territories as well as open the TANZPARTEI world to new emotions. Poté and TeaMarrr also contributed amazing vocals for the tape. A core part of this mixtape sequence is the community I have been curating around it — it feels like it’s finally coming to life with this second mixtape, playing shows and testing the music in front of crowds this time has been a big part of the process.”

TANZPARTEI II features standout collaborations from ‘Ocean’ and ‘Dun That’ with KAM-BU & TeaMarr, as well as Bawo on Talking Too Much’; a reflection of ATRIP’s ethos to blend genres and emotions. The mixtape captures a broad spectrum of energy, from euphoric high points to introspective moments, all while staying true to his trademark blend of vibrant, kinetic production.

‘Friday (Alone Right Now)’, the latest single and focus track for the mixtape, has already become a staple in ATRIP’s DJ sets throughout the year, earning heavy rotation from prominent DJs such as Barry Can’t Swim, Joy Anonymous, and salute. Its infectious groove and dance floor-ready energy have made it a fan favourite, setting the stage for the larger-than-life sound of TANZPARTEI II.

ATRIP will be wrapping up an incredible year by hitting the road alongside some of the biggest names in electronic music. He will be joining Disclosure at their night for Warehouse Project, supporting Barry Can’t Swim at his three O2 Academy Brixton shows on 1st, 2nd & 3rd November, before making his debut across North America, with a 7-date tour where he will touch down in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Washington DC amongst others. He will wrap up the year with his headline show at Phonox on 28th November as he continues to build on the incredible momentum he’s developed over the past year, solidifying his position as one of the UK’s most exciting and innovative names on the circuit.

Having already gained recognition from the likes of HAAi, Bonobo, Disclosure, Barry Can’t Swim, DJ Seinfeld and Lil Silva, as well as millions of organic streams, ATRIP is poised to make a major impact with TANZPARTEI II.
