RAICHE TO JOIN TEDDY SWIMS ON HIS I’VE TRIED EVERYTHING BUT THERAPY TOUR BEGINNING OCTOBER 2 IN GREENSBORO, NC

“HEARTS AT WAR” AVAILABLE NOW VIA GDE/ISLAND PROLIFIC/ATLANTIC RECORDS

Soul-stirring vocal sensation Raiche has shared her latest single, “Hearts At War,” available now via GDE/Island Prolific/Atlantic Records. The new track heralds the eagerly awaited release of the acclaimed artist’s upcoming EP, Making Room, arriving on Friday, October 18.

“Hearts At War” follows last month’s premiere of the soulfully contemplative “Thinking Of You,”. The EP was first heralded earlier this summer by the raw and evocative title track, “Making Room,” available now. The self-growth anthem – which arrived alongside a series of visual vignettes on social media – marked the first new music from Raiche since last year’s critically praised Loveland,. Hailed by Out Now as “a sultry musical journey… showcasing her evocative vocal style and personal growth,” the EP includes such captivating tracks as “Lucky,” “Half & Half,” “Late Show,” “Big Daddy,” “Fool,” “Feelings,” and “Pick A Side (Feat. Ty Dolla $ign).” A wide array of official music videos, in-studio performances, covers, and more are streaming now at YouTube HERE.

Raiche is set to join vocal titan Teddy Swims on his I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy Tour, beginning October 2 at Greensboro, NC’s Piedmont Hall and then traveling through a two-night stand at Anaheim, CA’s House of Blues Anaheim on October 21-22. Named one of Billboard’s “15 Hip-Hop & R&B Artists to Watch in 2021” as well as an ESSENCE “Rising Star,” YouTube “Artist on the Rise,” and iHeartRadio “On The Verge Artist,” Raiche has quickly proven to be a creative sensation and breath of fresh air in contemporary R&B. The gifted young artist fuses soulful roots with modern pop to concoct a genuinely distinctive new sound all her own, lit up with confidence, consistency and positivity. Born and raised in Pittsfield, MA, just two hours outside of Boston, Raiche devoted her energies towards music from an early age, uploading cover videos to YouTube that almost immediately earned her online applause. Her musical dreams almost came to a halt following high school graduation but some encouraging words from her beloved Nana eventually led her to Boston, where she met and began being mentored by DJ Knock Out. The local legend soon introduced Raiche to her GDE production team as well as to superstar songwriter Prince Charlez (Rihanna, Beyoncé, Usher), who promptly signed the talented vocalist to his recently launched Island Prolific imprint at Atlantic Records.

Now boasting over 20M worldwide streams across her growing body of work, Raiche made her national debut with 2018’s “Money Pies,”; a colorful official video – directed by the all-female Verluxe collective – can be viewed HERE. Raiche’s acclaimed debut EP, DRIVE, followed, highlighted by the powerful title track, “Drive,” featured in Netflix’s Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker. The EP’s “Complicated” also proved a true fan favorite, now with more than 3.2M worldwide streams and over 900K views via the MA-based singer’s official YouTube channel.

2020 saw Raiche’s star ascend with “Pick A Side,” which reached #2 at R&B radio outlets nationwide while earning more than 5M worldwide streams. Raiche further celebrated “Pick A Side” with a spectacular live performance on NBCUniversal’s nationally syndicated Kelly Clarkson Show, streaming HERE.

ABOUT RAICHE:

Rather than crumble under the weight of a brutal breakup, Raiche wiped the tears from her eyes, grabbed a pen, locked herself in the studio, and pushed herself harder than ever. She mustered every last bit of confidence and charisma she had and pulled power out of all that pain. The Boston-born and Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and performer alchemizes a season of heartbreak into a soulful, sultry, and spirited kiss-off to the past across a series of 2024 EPs, beginning with Making Room [Genre Defying Entertainment/Island Prolific/Atlantic Records]. Even though the breakup was mutual, Raiche found herself at her lowest point in the aftermath. She holed up in Atlanta for three months in the summer of 2023. During this time, she recentered herself. She took long walks and listened to audiobooks such as Jay Shetty’s 8 Rules of Love: How to Find It, Keep It, and Let It Go, Paulo Coelho’s The Alchemist, and Dream Your Problems Away. You can hear Raiche’s growth loud and clear on the title track and first single “Making Room”—praised by VIBE and Pop Dust. Whether it be the swaggering bittersweet vocal on “Thinking Of You” or the piano-laden conflict of “Hearts At War,” her delivery teems with emotion. At the same time, she gets her groove back on the swaggering “You Made Me” and encodes her gleeful vengeance inside the breezy doo-wop harmony of “Burn Your Clothes.” Raiche is reborn now. She’ll be hitting the road with Teddy Swims and serving up two more EPs in this series. Most importantly, she’s showing the world who she was always meant to be as an artist.
