London’s alternative rap trio Frozemde are back and this time making a statement. Staying true to their artistry, “BLACK HOLE” is a seamless fusion of high energy, heavy drums, and their signature roaring flows. When life starts to get on top of you, bad habits are often used as an escape from reality, “I think I’m getting numb / To filling this abyss / Been running from the black hole / But starting to admit”, the trio chant. Admitting defeat, self-awareness and introspection are pushed to the forefront of this frenzied release.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the track Frozemode explained, “Sometimes we find ourselves using bad habits to run away from our problems and sometimes this can get you stuck in a spiral or “black hole”, where those problems are never solved. With the sound of this track we tried to reflect the fact that on the surface everything looks like a party, but underneath it everything’s a lot muddier than it seems.”
Made up of I.V.GATLIN, Cho-Hollo, and Lisong, Frozemode made their debut at the very end of 2022.
