FOLLOW-UP TO THE RELEASE OF HONEY’S FIRST PODCAST EPISODE FOR ‘I HATE YOU, I LOVE YOU’ FEAT. HOST DREA JACKSON
Chaotic R&B’ s head honcho, Honey Bxby, released the deluxe edition of her debut EP, 3 Words, 8 Letters. The 12-track project includes appearances by hip-hop legend Busta Rhymes and labelmate Kaliii. The deluxe arrives alongside the official visual for “Basic” directed by Yasha; a theatrical visual that shows exactly what happens when you play with Honey’s heart. “Basic” made its broadcast premiere on MTV Live, MTVU and Yo! MTV today at 12pm EST.
Prior to the release of the deluxe, Honey supported the project with a remix to her viral hit “Touchin’” featuring Busta Rhymes. This marks the second official remix for the viral single and arrives just after the single release last month. The iconic collaboration is highlighted by the fact the single samples Busta’s notable record “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See.” It comes on the heels of Honey providing direct support for Flyana Boss on their BOSSTANICAL Garden Tour and it serves as the follow-up to her previously released singles and visuals for “Fkn Him Too” and the first remix of “Touchin’.”
Honey is serving up some good ol’ girl chat with the launch of her ‘I Hate You, I Love’ Podcast. Moderated by Drea Jackson and other special guests, the series will touch on current topics, relationships, toxic love stories, and peel back the layers of all things Honey Bxby. The first episode is available now for streaming HERE.

HONEY BXBY
In an influx of hopeful R&B rising stars, few leave as sweet an aftertaste as Asbury-Park native Honey Bxby. The singer-songwriter’s heart-stirring bops embody a natural soul with a twist of brassy street-smarts that make her music a girl’s night classic. Raised on contemporary artists like Drake, Alicia Keys, and Kehlani, she embodies their straight-shooting honesty with catchy hooks made for the pregame, the radio, or wherever you need a dose of bad-bitch energy. On her debut EP, 3 Words, 8 Letters, Honey flits through genre with her rich, honey-laced tone and an effortless “I hate you/I love you” spirit. As an expert on toxic love, Honey pulls from the golden days of 90’s neo-soul and head-turning contemporary storytelling, to create a sub-genre that’s all her own: chaotic R&B.
Since the release of her debut EP, the songstress has kept up the energy. Recently, she has released Touchin’: The Pack; a compilation of several variations of Honey’s breakthrough single. Honey then followed up with a slew of music videos and unique content releases, wrapped not one but two national tours with Sexyy Redd and Flyana Boss, and made her television debut at the 2023 BET Soul Train Awards where she performed “Touchin’.” With a flurry of big wins under her belt, Honey is now poised to release the deluxe version of her debut project and continue her astronomic rise to superstardom.
