British rising pop singer-songwriter Samira has released her empowering new banger ‘Good at Goodbyes’. Buoyed by a sizzling reggaeton beat and her signature confessional lyrics, this track is the perfect kiss-off to an ex as you dance the pain away underneath the stars.
Along with the new single today, Samira is excited to announce her debut EP “Dancefloors & Drama Vol. 1”, which will be released on 19 January 2024. The six-track collection of anthemic and relatable break-up bangers will include her singles: ‘Like This, Like That’, ‘That’s Not What My Friends Say’, ‘Envy Me’, and ‘Toxic’, which was tipped by BBC Radio 1 Future Pop and Billboard’s ‘Cool New Pop Songs of The Week’. Billboard: “Samira has spent the year releasing a string of increasingly promising singles, and ‘Toxic’ bests them all”.
Samira said: “I’m so excited to finally release my debut EP early next year. It rounds up all my singles from the past twelve months and tells a really clear story about heartbreak, regret and all the fun ways to get over that! All with one eye firmly on the dancefloor. Hopefully it gives people a really strong first glimpse into who I am as an artist and what I might have up my sleeve for the rest of 2024!”
With over 9 million global streams and three UK Top 5 Club chart hits; Samira is rapidly carving a lane of her own to become Britain’s new princess of pop. The South London independent artist has been tipped by Billboard, CLASH, MTV UK, NOTION and Official Charts, to name a few. She worked with hitmakers like Cutfather (Kylie Minogue), Kal Lavelle (Ed Sheeran), and more.
Earlier this year, Samira launched her edgy debut solo single ‘Like This, Like That’. She followed it up with her irresistible, sassy banger ‘That’s Not What My Friends Say’, which was played on Love Island and became her third single to peak in the UK Top 5 Club Charts. Samira’s summer banger ‘Envy Me’ was featured on NME’s Best New Bangers.
Inspired by Black dance-pop queens who came before her like Rihanna, Janet Jackson and Kelly Rowland; Samira is a triple-threat entertainer to watch for. After years honing her craft in the studio and on stage at the West End; the singer-songwriter, dancer and actress is set for a big breakthrough year in 2024.
