070 Shake shares “Natural Habitat,” the second offering from her forthcoming album, featuring a verse from Opium Records’ Ken Carson. Accompanying the single’s release is a visual directed by Machine Operated, which provides colour to the song’s monochromatic feeling.
The anticipation for this single has steadily built over 2023 after Shake previewed it at a series of performances this year that include Coachella, SXSW, and Governors Ball. Ken has cited his admiration for Shake in a handful of interviews throughout the year, building further excitement for this collaboration.
“Natural Habitat” follows the album’s lead single, “Black Dress,” Shake’s first solo single of 2023. The Dave Hamelin-produced single arrived alongside a visual from her frequent music video collaborator Noah Lee (“Nice To Have,” “Skin and Bones“).
